First- Abt 4 pm -off we went the Zamreen's sis wedding kat Semenyih! Well... we definitely are the true believers of "better late than never"!! By the time ktorg sampai (abt 5 smth)- org dah tak der! Yg tgl just fmly members & the brides yg tgh dok posing sakan ngn kek purple derang! anyway, since i'm related (bau2 stoking ler kot!!) ngn Reen's dad- so assume jer ler ktorg ni fmly gak! ahaks!!

We were greeted by abag ipaq perantin - Zam yg kabarnya tidoq sebelah tong ayaq sbb nk jga ayaq yg tgh di masak tuh! patut ler ko menantu kesayangan bro!!!

Now... the clock is already ticking to almost 9 30 pm. Abis main bowling- we wanted to carik tempat nk mkn2. Look see, look see... pusing2 akhirnya sampai kat Cafe Santai- Tasik Permaisuri , Bandar Tun Razak. It's opposite the Sek Men Sains S'ngor. Cantik tempat tu & betul2 tepi jalan. I love the decor... memang santai & relax! Since aku dah tak rupe orang dah.. so aku paksa jer le model 2 org ni amik gambo! Janji ado !!

Afid yg beria2 sgt lapar.. akhirnya tak bangun langsung! Penat sgt kot!

At the end of the day... we left the cafe abt 12 plus am. Tired, worn out, a bit 'berlengas' but... the happy look that i saw on each loving faces that i held so dear to my heart, made me feel energized all over again!! Yupp.. we'll definitely go gallivanting like this again! This time, we've got to make sure that ALL RONGGENG BUDDIES will be able to join!!!

Bora Ombak, Ampang

Friday nite... used to be our fav coz ktorg mesti g tgk mid-nite klu ader movie yg best! But skrg ni dah susah sket nk catch mid-nite sbb Sat will be a very buzy day for both jesse & myself.

Tapi dek rasa nk sgt loosen up a lil' bit- last Fri nite ktorg decided to lepak2 kat Bora Ombak, Ampang. It's our fav port for lepak2 sambil layan live band kat situ. Selection of foods kat situ bagi aku average jer but the ambiance yg buat ktorg rasa seronok. Reminds us of Bali.. hmm.. nyaman sekali bapak2 & ibuk2 sakalian! ahaks!

i odered top hats but rasanya it's too dry. kureng sket compared to the one that we had at the rainforest, sunway. yg tue.. perghh... terangkat siott!!

love had cantonese kuey teow & cafe latte'. jesse as usual- came here only to enjoy the live band. tak makan aper pun coz she had had dinner kat umah. Mmmm.. tgk expression muka fendi, rasanya korang dh blh agak how 'tak menepati piawaian' was the food!

Jesse- enjoying the live band... but somehow, smth was amiss tau!! Laa...de cute-miut singer yg rupa dia cam diddy af4 tue dah tak der lah... aisehhman... frust aku ngan jesse.. ahaks!!

Love - abih ati dapek 'kenyit mato' ngn the lady singer!!

mmm... these are the singers. The lady was alwiz rockin' the show! Suara power giler especially biler dia performed the number from tracy chapman! Alwiz keepin' the crowd at the edge of our seats! Excited nk dgr the next lagu!! The other singer.. nmpak cam 'anak ikan emas' jer... anywy, boleh gak layannn....since dia cute gak! ha ha ha... sure laki aku 'jeling' aku lopeh nie...

They also sang 2 numbers tht was requested by jesse- 'ketahuan' (ishh.. cam sama yg aimran requested before kan???) & 'matahariku' . Dlm pada syok2 layan lagu.. ader ler 1 group geng2 veteran gomen (aku agak jer ler..tgk from baju batik yg derang pakai- at that hours of the day!) dok request lagu 'jalak lenteng', 'pasir salak', etc!! Seb' baik lagu2 tue tak der dlm simpanan the band! Tapi tak nak menghampakan derang... they performed gak 1 oldies ... "di ambang sore"!! layannn.... Paling ktorg enjoyed was when they performed the number from jason marz.. 'i'm yours'. everyone were sporting enough to sing along & clapped our hands to the rythm of the

song!! it was fun & spontaneous! Too bad, we had to leave early abt 11 30 pm & get ready for tomorrow's longggg day! Till the next posting.. chiow bebs!!!

Kg Kuin, Kuantan - we came, we saw, we CONQUERED!!!!

Last Sat was the 2nd last day of the 1 week school break & we've no plan what-so-ever on how to wrap up the holidays! kesian my lil' beb... trying so hard to be helpful with the daily chores & even helped to look after atuk banting when I had to go the SRK centre (luv u beb for being such an angel!)

And as usual- Abah Nuar & Ibu Lin will alwiz be d last minutes 'event mgt' co-ordinator!! Thank God for creating such a beautiful 'impromptu' couple! So off we went for a 2 days 1 nite trip to Kg Kuin, Kuantan.

3 people in 1 car wit 3 diff missions:
My beb- Jesse (notice the fastened seat belt??? mmm...luv u beb for being so 'obedient'!!) Mission: MAIN, MEET NEW BUDDIES, REUNION WIT OLD BUDDIES (AKIF & AFIQ) but she was kind of frustrated though .. biler tau Alif & 'sparring' partner Adam won't be able to join the trip!

My love- sexcited coz looking fwrd to lepak2 kat sungai (thnx nuar & lin for arranging the picnic) & mkn karipap 'giant' (thnx liz coz susah2 ko beratur g beli!)

Me??? durian pahang.. durian pahang.. on my mind time nih!! my tummy- all geared up to rock & rollin' with the original durian pahang -fresh from the dusun!!!

We reached there @ 6.30 pm (abt 3 hrs drve frm kl). Jln nak msk to Kg Kuin was kind of hilly but the view was breath taking! Kg Kuin is actually located @ Bukit Kuin. So kalau banjir yg capai tahap gaban, villagers may even be 'stranded' up there until the flood subsides- according to the villagers lah! We'll be 'menumpang'ing kat umah kak long Lin (Kak Za & hubby- Abg Ya. Beautiful children- Acik, Abby, Ateh & Iman). Really humble family with 'tip top' hospitality! Luv u guys so much!!!

Sesampai jer... letak beg dlm bilik & adengan makan bermula! Abah Nuar bwk keluar 4 btg tebu & parang tapik. Daddy konon nk tunjuk skill gigit tebu ngn gigi... he he.. gave up & bagi kat Nuar utk potong. Aku pun join sekaki! Best siottt!!! can't remember when was the last time aku dok gigit tebu cam nih!!

Cloudy weather coupled with perut yg sentiasa tak tau kenyang nih (applicable kat budak 2 org kek ateh ni tau, aku 'excluded' erk)... Lin bwk keluar lak teh panas & kuih pau. Home made by lin & kak za tau!Plg aku tak leh lupa, inti kelapa kaler pink tuh!! Rasa dia??? Lu pikir la sendri nabilll!! ader aku kisah apa ko nak jawap??!! ha ha ha.. joking ahh...

Lepas maghrib- aku, Lin & K Za buat2 ler sibuk msk2 kat dapur! Honestly, aku btl2 felt at home. No joke beb- aku baru kenal K Za less than 2 hours tp sikap dia yg humble & mudah mesra tu buat aku selesa nak 'main msk2'!

Dlm pada ktorg bz kat dapur tuh- alih2 te'nampak lak sorang apek ni dok jln ke hulu ke hilir pakai kain pelikat! ha ha ha!!! golek2 ktorg tgk cik pend (namo manjo hubby aku amongst geng 'ronggeng') pakai kain tuh! aku plg risau .. 'what if" kain tu lucut coz it's not 1 of his daily costumes! larikkksssss!!! ngeri mak siott!

lps dinner- dok lepak2 sat kat anjung. udara malam ateh bukit.. perghhh!!! seb' baik bkn malam 'perantin' ha ha ha!! Now, after almost 11 pm- baru ler decide nak klr g Teluk Cempedak & Benteng. Ingat nak dating 2 couples jer le..romantik sket.. hmm..yg adooo! Bebudak tu mata wide open cam owl! So, berangkut ler reramai kami jadik 'batman & robbin'!!

misha & the geng main spinning object kat pantai TC. Mcm2 perangai.. kejap sentap, kejap best frenz forever, kejap share, kejap rebut! Lantak lerr..janji stick together & x hilang di celah2 org ramai tuh!! suasana kat TC.. perghh... vast & happening! Toluk Komang PD mmg kalah tanpa bertanding lah beb!

ha.. sompek gak we all be' romatica de armour' kek topi pantai TC! napo?? jeles?? ha ha ha!!!

jam dah lbh kol 12 30 pg tp nak gak g tgk benteng! kata lin pun happening gak! so, off we went! yg plg havoc kat situ- the kids! mana tak nya- dpt main kat playground pepagi buto!! yg plg aku & lin tak leh lupo.. 1 couple nie yg we thought uda & dara... but at a 2nd glance... yg adooo!!! Ngerii!

We all jln further up sket from the playground & g kat tmpt mkn! Suprisingly- the food centre was still open whilst the clock was ticking to almost 1 am. So, 'ronggeng' being 'ronggeng'.. next agenda was yeaa... makan!! We ordered nasi lemak, mee sup, fries & ntah apa lg tah!

We all smpi umah nak dekat kol 2 30 am & memasing zzzzzz zzzzz! Tomorrow is another full day event for all of us!

Haaa... the next mornng, lps msk mee goreng, donut & nasi himpit (thnx to K Za & Lin, again!) we packed the foods & off we go to the picnic @ SG PANCING! Look at these happy faces!! Priceless beb!!

Sg Pancing - abt 20 min drive from Bkt Kuin is a 'virgin' outbound river! Cantik giler! Belum kena 'ceroboh' lg coz there's no construction being done here at all! Mmg betul2 back to the nature lah!

Misha & the geng started their 'beremdam' session without even waiting for us! We're ok coz air smpi lutut jer! But of course, tak ler ke tengah.. dalam gak!

Ni adenagn pasang khemah! Aku?? posing dlu pa pehal pun!

Haaa... korang tgk jer lah photo2 kat bwh nie.. it justifies the term that i used earlier.. that this sungai is sooo 'virgin'! sampai mamat 2 org ni kena jadi adventurous sket! carik buluh nak buat tiang to pasang payung... bagi shady sket!

tak sampi 10 min tiang & payung tu siap - matahari memancar ngn agk terik sket! so.. bergegas la abe2 2 org tu carik ranting2 nak sangkut kain & towel bagi luas sket tmpt yg shady! ye lah.. korang tgk le plak aku & lin! kter 2 org jer dah penuh tmpt teduh tuh! ha ha ha!!! ada aku kisah???

pas tu.. adengan bbq lak! tekun tau 2 org boy scouts ni 'main' camping2!! kiter suka lah kat budak baju itam tuh!!! nak phone no buleh???

sementara ktora sibuk prepare tempat nak teduh, bbq the foods, etc... bebudak tuh dah jadik duyung dah! misah siap bukak 'spa' mandikan adik2 dia dgn ayaq sungai!!!

Dek panas yg terik- we decided to change the strategy! Abg Ya bawak keluar some used buntings utk di buat as a big khemah! Look at mama Lin posing! perghhh!! kietr mmg lawa kan Lin???!!!

Haa... ni le payung yg kenkonon nak bagi shade kat almost 12 of us! cemana tuh???

Akhirnya.... ni ler khemah man made yg berjasa to all of us! Bravo to Abg Ya, Cik Pend, Abah Nuar, K Za, Ibu Lin & Mommy!!!

Otw back- singgah jap kat jambatan gantung! mmg digunakan dek org2 kg! tinggi siot! aku tak tipu! it does sway to the left & right!! no kidding beb!!

abah nuar dok melayan bebudak pegi sampai ke tengah! i dunno how did these kids manage to go that far!!!????

couldn't resist the temptations to try to get on that jambatan! but i guess i just made the worst decision of my life!! i was hanging to my dear life while the kids were busy rockin' & swayin' the jambatan!!! OMG!!! Look at the kids facial expressions as compared to mine!!!

well... all good things will have an ending, right? So was our trip Kg Bkt Kuin! We left about 4 3o pm & dropped by at Lizdu's place @ Indera Mahkota. Cik Pend dapat gak mkn karipap giant yg dia dok carik since the last 2 trips! Thnx liz! Durian pahang aku??? hampehhh..belum musim la plakk!!! arghh... tak per, that'll be a valid reason to drop by kat kuantan lg next time!
